KCON 2016 NYC/New Jersey !

KCON NCY/NEW JERSEY was absolutely amazing ! A big round of applause to the staff of KCON and C&J ENT you guys did an amazing job. The convention itself ran smoothly and all the panelist that I was able to meet were great! Day one show open up with Democracy Prep Korean Dance Team base in NYC did dance covers of BTS Fire and BIG BANG’s Bang Bang Bang.

Seventeen was the first artist to enter the stage. Seventeen a rookie boy-band under Pledis Entertainment which debuted in 2015 consisting of 13 members S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon, Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, Seungkwan, Hoshi, Jun, The8, Dino. Seventeen perform their hits songs Manse, Pretty You, Chuck and Adore U. They also cover some of their sunbaes song from Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry Sorry, After school’s Bang and DBSK’s Balloon. Crush a solo artist under Amoeba Culture with his soulful voice perform Hug Me, Sometimes, Oasis and swayed the ladies away. Before the next artist was to take the stage special guests Park Bo Young and Im Siwan took to the stage MCing and welcome the next artist. Korea's Beyonce Miss Ailee a solo artist under YMC Entertainment had some technical difficulties at the start of her stage but yet killed it like the pro she is. She perform Mind your own Business, U&I and I’ll show you. All her fans scream her name that filled the arena that made her speechless to be able to perform in her home town. BTOB under Cube Entertainment consisting of 7 members; Eunkwang, Minhyuk ,Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, Ilhoon and Sungjae open up their stage with their beautiful ballad song Remember That, followed by Beep Beep and It’s Okay. Day one’s show ended with none other than hip-hop duo Dynamic Duo under their own label Ameoba Culture which was formed in 2006. The duo consists of Choiza and Gaeko. The crowd was hyped up as they perform BAAAM, 슛 골인 (Shoot - Goal In), Friday Night which was joined by label mate Crush. Day one’s show definitely ended with a BANG and left the crowd wanting more. As day one wrapped up day two of KCON NYC 2016 was as amazing as the first day. Once again the staff did an amazing job making sure everything ran smoothly. Day two show up with youtuber Jun Curry Ahn. He dance his way through his performance while on his violin. MAMAMOO under Rainbow Bridge World consisting of four members; Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa light the stage with You’re the Best, Mr. Ambiguous, Um Oh Ah Yeh. The crowd went crazy for these four amazing spontaneous girl group as they exitd the stage. Eric Nam a solo artist under B2M Entertainment enter the stage with his hand full of red roses for his fangirls, and made every fangirl in the crowd go wild while he personally handed out the red roses. He started off his stage with a beautiful ballad Good for You and his very own English song Into you. Eric did a wonderful job. JYP Entertainment's rookie boy-band DAY6 which consists of 5 members; Sungjin, Jae, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon rock the stage with Congratulations, Letting Go and Freely. Day6 cover some of their sunbae’s song from BIG BANG’s Lies and label mates Wonder Girls’ Nobody which was also joined by MAMAMOO. Solo artists Ailee and Eric Nam with their soulful voices also team up and cover Soyou and Junggigo, featuring Lil Boi of Geeks’s song Some. They were very lovely and comfortable while doing their duet on the stage which made the crowd scream in happiness. Last but not least BTS took the stage by storm and definitely turn the roof on fire! BTS is a seven member boy-band under Big Hit Entertainment consisting of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rap Monster, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They teared up the stage with some of their hit songs like Fire, Dope and Save Me. Ailee and BTS member Rap Monster did an amazing job MCing the whole two night show and got the crowd worked up eveytime they enter the stage to announce the next artist. Rap Monster even did Aegeyo and for the ladies on the crowd jumping with joy. As the show ended all the artists took to the stage and did their last round of walk waving happily to their fans. Everyone of the artist did an absolute great job, the crowd was amazing and did not want to leave the arena as the show closed out.
