Soompi winners announced for Rising LEGEND!

Soompi team up with K-Pop powerhouse record label JYP Entertainment to find the next rising star and today they announced the three finalists of “Rising Legends,” an online global talent audition aimed at discovering the next global K-Pop stars. More than 5,000 hopefuls submitted videos from 112 countries; recommendations from a panel of experts from Billboard, Buzzfeed, Fuse and Soompi, were considered along with nearly a million fan votes after several rounds of online voting. The three category finalists in the areas of Singing, Dancing and Rapping are: Subin L. from Korea, a recent transplant from Ireland (singing), Alex S. from the United States (dancing) and Asel H. from Turkey (rapping). The three will get the opportunity to interview one-on-one with a JYP talent scout for a chance to become signed by the premier talent agency.
